On 6 November 2021 at West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge, the Cambridge Philharmonic return with a concert celebrating both the chorus and orchestra in turn.
The chorus, conducted by Chorus Master Tom Primrose, will take centre stage for the first half with Janáček’s Six Moravian Choruses and Parry’s Songs of Farewell. The orchestra, conducted by Timothy Redmond, will start the second half with Samuel Coleridge Taylor’s sparkling Ballade in A Minor followed by Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”, one of the best loved symphonies of all time.
We are very much looking forward to being back at West Road Concert Hall, and will be following their covid-19 guidelines to keep all our audience members and musicians safe. More information is available here.
