Cambridge Philharmonic cordially invites you to a pre-concert talk, led by our Music Director Harry Sever.
Harry will be discussing Mahler’s ‘No 5 Symphony’ and Canteloube’s ‘Chants d’Auvergne’ from a conductor’s perspective. In this informative talk he will outline his choices for the evening’s programme and how folk songs are in many ways grounded in the roots of Gustav Mahler’s Fifth Symphony – a musical tour de force!
