Would you like to audition for the Cambridge Philharmonic Chorus?

Our friendly chorus is looking to recruit some new members. We perform an exciting repertoire, working with the orchestra and world-class soloists in some beautiful Cambridge and East Anglian venues. Joining the chorus is a great opportunity to return to singing, we work together to improve and have a real sense of community, brought together by our singing.

Interested?

We have seven audition slots remaining on July 18th between 7.07 and 8pm at Chesterton Community College Music Block, Cambridge

What’s involved?

Auditions include testing of the vocal range through scales, singing a prepared song to piano accompaniment, and sight-singing, a reasonable level of which is expected.

Normally the chorus master, accompanist and a committee member are present. Auditionees are given time to warm up and practise with the accompanist beforehand.

NOTE: The total time spent will not be more than ten or fifteen minutes, including the practice.
